PIPS Larne
A local church held a suicide prevention
training programme in November 07 in which PIPS Belfast attended. A few of the committee members were present
and little did we know that this was the start of PIPS Larne. We are now a registered charity, working
under the umbrella of the PIPS organisation PIPS Larne has a telephone help line Monday
to Friday 9 to 5pm 07530797716 after this time all calls are diverted to the
Protect Life help line number which is 08088088000
Our committee is fully qualified and has
personal experience with issues surrounding suicide and self-harm
PIPS Larne is currently trying to organise
group support meetings for year staring 2010 for families bereaved through
suicide. If you think talking to others who are experiencing the same pain as
you please do not hesitate to get in touch with PIPS Larne.
